1. Construction of X-ray Rooms (Radiology Chambers)

The construction of a radiology room requires surgical precision, specialized engineering study and deep knowledge of shielding materials. We undertake the project from initial design to turnkey projects.

• Space Study: Calculation of shielding needs based on the power and location of the X-ray machine.
• Special Drywall Panels: Installation of drywall systems with integrated lead sheet.

2. Radiation Shielding

• Wall Lead Shielding: Use of pure lead (Pb) sheets in appropriate thicknesses (e.g., 1mm, 2mm or more) depending on the radiation protection study.
• Armored Lead Doors: Construction of manual or automatic doors with internal lead lining and special joint coating systems.
• Radiation Protection Glazing: Installation of special lead glass in the control room for full visibility and safety of the operator.
• Certification: Conducting audits and preparing the dossier for the final licensing of the laboratory.

3. MRI RF Shielding

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) requires a completely controlled environment, free from external electromagnetic interference (RF), but also the protection of the building from the strong static magnetic field of the machine.

• Faraday Cage: Design and installation of high-end cages made of copper or aluminum foil for the complete isolation of the space.
• Radio Frequency (RF) Shielding: Cutting off external signals that alter image quality and cause parasites (artifacts) in examinations.
• Magnetic Shielding: Use of silicon steel sheets to limit the magnetic field lines (limit 5 Gauss) within the room.
• Line Filters & Penetrations: Installation of special RF filters for all supplies (electricity, medical gas piping, air conditioning, fiber optics) entering the cage.
